The plateau Colfiorito offers a spectacle and a unique testimony of the special nature of Umbria. The marsh of the same name, with its rare species of flora and fauna is certainly one of the most interesting environments in the region. Also worth mentioning important archaeological sites including the Roman Plestia. The presence of many ancient water mills indicates the ancient bond of man in this territory which has always used with care resources. Typical of the area is the production of potato and red lentils.
